large range of requirements in the field of web search. However,
many of these soon crystallised around a set of defined themes and
topics as we found the same work being repeated from client to
client.
As a consequence, we packaged much of our activity into services
which can largely be defined in documents which we call Service
Descriptions.
Although the services so described do vary in duration and
complexity depending on the websites and circumstances in which
they are delivered, the fact that written descriptions are
available gives our potential clients reassurance that the
services we propose will not drag on (as pure consultancy projects
have a reputation of doing) and that we can quote a fixed price
before work starts.
