Analytics Tag Monitoring is the brand name we use for the service that monitors a site's Google Analytics installation weekly to ensure the reliable collection of web analytics data.

Purpose

The service performs proactive inspection of a site's Google Analytics Tracking Code (GATC) to detect changes which may have inadvertently resulted from development or update activity. It contributes significantly to preventing the corruption and/or loss of traffic data.
